Groom Tim from Frisco, Texas called me to arrange a getaway wedding. He explained how he was planning the destination wedding himself, requesting guidance regarding the area, hotels & transportation, along with restaurants & services, such as florists. Each conversation was fun & I thought to myself, “This is one classy guy. Falisha (his fiance) is a lucky girl.” After corresponding & talking on the phone, I felt as if we’d become old friends. I very much looked forward to meeting them & sharing in their celebration.
Tim’s sister said he couldn’t get married without her being there; so she arranged to stop in our area on their way to a vacation in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Asking his brother-in-law the time, Tim awaits the arrival of his bride.
Here comes the bride! For their setting, Tim chose the Dream Deal Package with moss green organza. He said he had to shop at many stores before finding a similar color for his shirt.
Bride Falisha is the sister of Tim’s best friend. Although they met 7 years ago, their journey to this moment took awhile. As I look at them, I’m thinking, “What a special couple. They are beautiful on the inside and the outside.”
Tim brought our sound technician a mix of soul full music. They moved & grooved their way out of the setting.
As they were walked away, a little darling in a tutu first hugged, Falisha then Falisha’s new husband. As I moved to the music, I was moved by the joy of them all.
While the newlyweds were having their photographs taken by the water, a friendly couple came to me at the setting. The wife told me they were celebrating their 42nd anniversary with their family at the same resort. As I offered to take their photo at the arch, I told them about Tim & Falisha & encouraged them to give the couple their congratulations. They took my direction & did just that. How lucky I am to do this work! May God Bless them all with many happily ever afters.
